HOMEWORK POLICY

This policy outlines the purpose, rules roles and responsibilities of learners, teachers, and parents regarding homework.

DEFINITION
Homework is an integral part of the learning process, and an extension of class work which has to be completed or learned outside the classroom. This includes opportunities for learners to practice skills learned in class, reinforce, synthesize, extend classroom learning, projects and completion of assignments.

Purpose Of Homework:

• Assists in developing time management skills.
• Help learners to develop responsibility and good work habits.
• Develops learners’ independence, accountability and responsibility.
