CELL PHONE POLICY

Legae la Bana Primary School acknowledges that cell phones are useful means of communication, however, learners are not allowed to carry or use cell phones on school premises for the following reasons:

• Cell phones may expose learners to inappropriate information and material for their age.
• Cell phones may distract attention in class, learners who carry cell phones tend to have less concentration in classroom activities.
• Cell phones have multi functions/ and features not suitable for learners, which may promote an unbecoming behavior of learners if allowed to be accessed.
• Learners can use cell phones to cheat in tests and examination
• Learners can fight over stealing of cell phones.
• Thugs and criminal may target learners with cell phones.
